Home of The Sterile Guy! Hey there, I am Brandon and I am known in the industry as "The Sterile Guy." I am here to provide videos, content, and education to anyone who wants to hear it as it relates to Sterile Processing and anything around it. I have been a professional in the Surgical/Sterile Processing world for over 20 years. I've previously held certifications as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST), Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS), and Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL). I also currently hold the Certification in Infection Control (CIC). I have dedicated my spare time to creating content that educates Sterile Processing Technicians how to better understand their job and protect patient safety, as well as learn how to get certified through either Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD). Using my resources that were designed to help you pass, you could get certified as Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST), Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS), Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL), and the Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER).  I have spent my career helping Techs to succeed at their job, be recognized by leadership, and earn the pay they deserve. We still have a long ways to go in the industry with recognition and pay, but I am certain the more we push, the faster we will get there. I hope you enjoy the content. SP practice exam

I'm really happy that I purchased the SP practice exam. I love how if you answer the question incorrectly, the correct answer will include the page number of the text book to find the answer. The questions are literally based on the textbook. I suggested "The Sterile Processing Guy" to my friend that is studying for the exam as well.

I purchased the course, the index cards and the extra quizzes. I don't have the book nor did I take any classes or go to any programs. My schedule was too busy, so I self studied with Brandon's incredible bundles. I HIGHLY recommend his course and the extra quizzes were chef's kiss.

I just registered class about one week ago, and finished two modules. I have to say this 101 class make the process of preparing the CRCST exam much more easier. I mean each module is kind of short but full of necessary information for the exam and follow up with some practice questions with an answer page. I also have flash cards on the way, cannot wait to see it!!! I am planning to take my exam no later than August probably in the middle of August, hope I can pass it on my first attempt. 🙏

SPD techs & OR techs are vital to the success of any medical procedure whether in the Operating Room or outlying clinics.

My goal is to equip SPD techs & OR techs with the knowledge, experience, and certifications they need to acquire the pay, benefits, and recognition they deserve. I started off simply producing YouTube videos teaching different aspects of each career field.
